Hi, Im brand new here and I had few question.
About 3 days ago, I received a computer from a friend.
When I set it up and tried to use it, it randomly shuts off. Sometime it stays on but I get no beep sound so it wont go to boot screen. When it goes to the boot screen, computer freezes at the boot screen. I think its a power error when I saw the manual. Please Help!

Oh, when computer turns on every fan spins.

Here is the component.

Intel Quad Core Q9400 2.66 GHZ
500 GB Sata II 3.0 GB 16MB 7200RPM
Gigabye GA-G41M-ES2H HDMI DDR2 PCI-E MB
Azza Cyberpower 600 WattPower Supply
EVGA GTS 250 1GB DDR3 PCI-E

Do you have RAM? I am assuming you do, and if so you may have faulty ram. Test them out on another computer if you have one, and if cause the same problem, buy new ram.

If the ram is good, I would re-install the OS.

Im not getting blue screen of death. RAM would not be the problem since computer worked before I received them.

Let me make it little bit clear. Sorry.

Power Turns on, Fan Spins, but there is nothing on my screen. No Beep Sound. Then after few second the computer turns off, then turns back on. Then it goes off again, cycle continues.

Have you tried it without the EVGA in there and just run the onboard video?

You've swapped the memory chips around / try using just one if supported?

Is it possible the CPU was jarred and isn't quite seated properly in its socket?
