power cable coming into contact with cpu cooler

finally wrapping up my latest build, unfortunately the cable management in this is a little tough (its a rosewill redbone u3). great case, a little tight, but that's what the person wanted. anyway, the only way to route the 8-pin connector to the motherboard is to take it over the hyper 212 plus. the cable lightly runs along the heatsink of the 212, is this a problem? it's not like it's pulling it down or anything, but its in solid contact with it. hopefully not a problem? thanks in advance.

What motherboard are you using?

Can you not run it under the motherboard and over the top?

It shouldn't be a problem, back in the day when I didn't know what cable management was I did something similar with my build and it stayed like that until I wanted it to look prettier. It won't cause any problems.

there is literally no space to go over the top, its a rather tight fit. i wouldn't have used this case with a full atx mobo but my friend was dead set on it
