Hi I need help, my lenovo laptop that I got in December of 2012 is using 63% of ram when i'm just on Google chrome with four tabs open. Now i have 8 GB of ram and its using 5, I've tried to end processes (110) but is there an easier way because it doesn't seem like that could be it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Ill run one overnight because its gonna take while, but I just ran one last week and it was fine, I don't know when the ram usage shot up, I only bothered to check because my friend is getting a computer and wanted to know how much ram I use. Also computer still runes fine its just i'm worried about it now.

If the virus scan comes up clean then check the processes to set what is running in the background. You could open Task Manager to check and see what process might be causing the spike (click on the Performance tab, then click on the Resource Monitor button, then click on the Memory tab).
