Does AMD's new A-series APU allow crossfire mode? With which generation of Radeon?

It's generally not worth the hassle, the performance boost in minor and it creates issues.

You're far better off buying a faster card and just running the APU as a CPU. Either that or going with a dedicated CPU from the start, if you aren't upgrading an already existing system.

Thanks for the replies everyone, after looking into it further - you're right there isn't enough benefit to utilizing crossfire.
