Ok so I'm looking to upgrade my Graphics card to something with a little bit more punch that could play gta 4 on medium settings at 40-50 fps. My current card reads as a 512 MB on my Windows XP 32 bit system and can play crysis on lowest settings with no lag at all.

Also I have a17 inch LCD princeton monitor And i usually run games at 800x600. I dont mind the graphics but when gta 4 looks like everything is faded out bcuz of sun exposure... you get the point.

Again, I dont want to upgrade anythingelse! Just the graphics card.

How powerful is your psu? There should be a sticker that tells you how many watts it is. That is going to be your limiting factor because the processor has an integrated graphics core so you technically dont have a graphics card.

I'd have to say go out and get the ATI Radeon 6850 with at least an 800 watt power supply.

I have a RadeonHD 2400XT, NOT INTEGRATED.

Well im still going to need to know the psu size, because you said you didnt want to upgrade it, that is really the limiting factor because higher tier gpus draw up to 600 watts alone.

I HAVE A RADEON HD2400XT!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT INTEGRATED. Also, my psu is either 285 or 150.... not sure, the sticker has both those wattages listed.

you should upgrade your psu first instead going to gpu upgrades. 250 watt would be enough for the HD4650
