High Cpu usage and fan speed???

For about 4 months now, my cpu has been displaying unusually high usage percentages (20 percent 40 percent, etc.) all at different times. Anytime the flash-player or internet runs the cpu percentage shoots up and the fan begins to whir instantly. I don't think my desktop should be doing this? Anybody know what could be the problem.

P.S. sorry for being broad about this problem. My knowledge about computers is very limited. I' just the average user lol. But i will be more than happy to provide whatever info anyone needs to help me out thanks :)

Do you try cleaning your pc? Cleaning the dust away might help.

i suggest you format your pc and restore everything to the factory setting.

Recently did that also and the problem still remains lol....would the problem be hardware related?

it might also be the hardware . Do you update all of the driver to the latest version? and try update your bios.
