Is this a good choice for a video card?

I want to get a 660 ti. Its the best in my price range. I don't want to pay more or wait to get a 700 series card. I have been told by people in the forums that ASUS makes the best graphics card. Is this true? If so, is this the best choice for a 660 ti? I have the opportunity to get one for $260, which seems like a steal to me. I need to know soon before they sell out or before the sale ends. Thanks!

Hi Dan!

Indeed the 660Ti is a truly excellent card for the cash, however I personally would say that EVGA are the best manufacturer. This is because EVGA are owned by Nvidia, and so they cherry pick thier cards for the best PCB's. If you go for the base card, you will be fine, but if you go for a FTW or Classified, you can OC them better!

Hope this helps!

But for $60 less than the EVGA version, would this ASUS 660 ti be a good choice?

I would say that that card should be fine, to be honest the performance between the different manufacturers is only a few FPS, and so it only really applies to hardcore gamers. If you can afford it go for it! You wont be dissapointed! I built a PC for a friend of mone with this card in, (Although he chose a Zotac), and he can play most games on high no problem!

Just a quick note, I found this FTW 660Ti for only $25 extra, take a look?
