My AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ @2.4ghz runs at 40 degrees C idle...
If I clocked it 2.5 would it put a slight increase or a massive increase? And how do I do it?

Thank you :p

slight increase, idk if it would really be beneficial. but to do it hold del on boot to get to your bios. turn off all energy saver settings and go to the ,menue that shows your cpu and ram clock speeds. find cpu raise it .1 ghz and reboot. you shouldnt need to change the voltage

Ok thank you! I'll give it a go, is it revertable?

Okay thank you! Yes I've done it to 2.5 and it still runs 40'C so I may overclock to 2.6!
Thank you for your replies :)
