audio driver [ soundmax integrated digital audio ] is installed
windows audio services are automatic and started
tried updating the driver , did not work ... only it reinstalled soundmax integrated digital audio driver .
downloaded new drivers , uninstalled the previous ones...reinstalled ... nothing changed.
problem ..
no audio , from control panel sound and audio appelet show no driver installed ..and every thing is greyed out ...
also checked that sound is ON in the Bios.
system Dell optiplex Gx 270
Note also tried the realtek 97 C the alternate drivers., a number of them ..... after every install ...system freezes to blue screen of death ...
