INTEL CORE I7-3930K 3.2 GHZ

ASUS SABERTOOTH X79 MOTHERBOARD

CORSAIR VENGEANCE MEMORY 4 X 8 GB

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285

x1 Optical Drive

Solution
For a system using a single GeForce GTX 285 graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 550 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 40 Amps or greater and that has at least two 6-pin Express supplementary power connectors.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) rated at 45°C - 50°C ambient temperature, is the most critical factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) will require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the...

The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock being attempted.

The Enermax Galaxy 850w is way more than enough. You didn't specify the exact model number of the PSU but its +12V current rating should be at least 68 Amps or greater.

Once again Thank you

The EGX850EWL model is an older model. The last 850W model that Enermax released in the Galaxy series was the EGX850EWT that had a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 70 Amps and now that series is discontinued. They were excellent PSUs.
