Good quality of Motherboard? suggestions..

hi there, i am new to this board and have a first question: Just had my birthday and wanna get me a new pc for that. I love to play ego shooters like crisis. I just got new sennheiser headphones last month. Now i am just looking for motherboard with good audio quality?

Hey thanks for your answers. I am looking for an FM2 motherboard. My processor is AMD A10-5800K.

An extra sound card does not sound like a good option to me. Arent there any good onboard chipsets out there?

That looks quite good, thank you. I also found the BIOSTAR Hi-Fi A85S3 that is about the same price. According to dextermat, biostar would be an even better choice than asrock. Also, the "Hi-Fi" label in the name sounds to me quite good for my case? They promise superior sound audio quality =)

Are there any thoughts about that?

That board from Biostar is horrible, just horrible. Despite high price, it has no heatsink, bad power design, ports are placed at awkward places, old chemical capacitors,... make it lost to almost any A75 boards from other manufacturers. And the fact that newegg is selling version 6.1 of that board tells us that there were at least 6 versions of BIOSTAR Hi-Fi A85S3 that failed at something. I'm never going to recommend that board or just any low-end boards from Biostar.

I am actually using the version 6.1 of Biostar Hi-Fi A85S3... the price is quite high but the quality is really a good guarantee! chipset they are using "AMD A85X (Hudson D4)"

SuperSpeed USB 3.0 and dual-channel memory up to DDR3 - 2400, and the audio design has built-in amplifier that really will fit on what you are looking for!

Yet it's still a 10 years old Realtek alc662. And A85x's big advantage over A75 is 8 sata3.0 ports, but this Biostar board only has 6, equals with any A75 boards.

yeah I got your point with that though..its interesting! thanks! although its also intersting to know what does this BIOSTAR offers when it comes to audio.

actually im having second thought of getting sound card but im clueless yet,

it would also be an advantage if the motherboard I will have is in Energy saving!

Well, i I finally just ordered the recommend board. I like the price and hope it keeps what it promises. It should be delivered in the next days. Thanks for your help so long. I will keep up updated how it works ;-)

Well guys, i just wanted to say thank you to everyone helping me out. I just received the A85S3 this week and finally built all up successfully. For now i am glad to say that i am really happy with it. Hope everything goes well in the future too :)
