I'm going to buy i5 3570k with GTX 660 2GB,may use SLI in future and overclock my cpu.
4Gb/8Gb RAM doesn't mean lot to me.

Is there any mobo not so expensive but also not so cheap in quality.

Gigabyte GA-Z77MX-D3H ,this one seems gud but don't know much about it.

Any help will be appreciated

whats your budget for the PSu, a 700W PSU should be sufficient. also if you are overclocking Asrock Z77 extreme 4 is slightly better for OCing and SLI[because it can take cards upto 3 slots and provide better airflow between cards that take 2 or less slots] though 10$ more. and thanks :)

Gigabyte GA-Z77MX-D3H costs me around Rs 8,700 i.e. 154$ and Asrock mobo around Rs 10,000 i.e. 177$

23 bucks for 3 SLI Support with better airflow (as u Stated) r not bad at all.Thankx

Can i use Coller Master 650W intead of 700W coz its around Rs 5,600 i.e. 100$
But 700W costs around Rs 8,000 i.e. 140$

if you are going 650 watt then id recommend a corsair/ antec seasonic XFX etc PSU's.if you are going with CM id say go with Slient Pro X series, it will be reliable.

and the asrock doesnt have 3 way SLI support it has 2 way support . By slots i mean how much space a card will take if put in a PCIe X16 slot. big cards like asus's direct CU cards have big heat sinks that occupy 3 PCI slots with the fan [ including the PCIE X16 slot]. so basically you can SLI 2 Gfx card like direct CU but will have poor airflow due to 1st card blowing its exhaust to 2nd card so it will get hotter. but if used a 2 slot card [ that takes 2 slots] there will be space for the hot air to get away so youll have much better temps.

Thankx for the info about gpu width,i checked that Gtx 660/660 ti (gonna buy one of these) has Dual-slot width,so i think its fine with Asrock mobo for better airflow even after SLI.

Once again thankx.

Hi #thasan1

Need Help

i have to choose FX-8350 instead of i5-3570k coz i'm goin to start my Animation classes next month and my one friend suggest me FX coz it has 8 cores which r best used for 3D Rendering instead of gaming.

What do u think,is this CPU is good with gtx 660 Ti (as i'm saving some bucks by goin with FX-8350 so i'll buy 660 Ti insted of Non-Ti (is it good to go with Ti or stick with Non-Ti version)).

what about overclocking this CPU.
Sorry to bother u by asking again n again.

Thankx 4 help.Hope 4 More:)

firstly yes FX is good for 660 ti. it performs close to the i5 so no worries about bottleneck. but your main problem would be power consumption, especially overclocked. it takes a lot of power if oberclocked high and would need a beefy cooler but it overclocks fairly good and worlds current OC record [8.39 or something Ghz] is held by this CPU [ though it needed a liquid helium cooler]
and as for 660ti, it will give you fairly good performance than 660, it more like a crippled GTX 670. with less bandwidth and ROP's.
