Trouble Getting Into BIOS/Setting Boot Order

I made a mistake while setting boot order (was wanting to boot from a external HDD). I set the priority disk to "disable", thinking it would let me choose which disk I wanted to boot upon start up.

Now whenever I start my PC, it briefly shows the POST screen, then it defaults to an error message saying something along the lines of "insert bootable installation into drive selected and then press a key."

This wouldn't be much a problem if I could simply access the BIOS setup and revert the changes. However, when pressing the 'DEL' key during POST, it doesn't give me access to the setup, and instead takes it as a input for the error message, which shows up soon afterward (e.g. if i press 'DEL' 10 times trying to access setup, I end up with 10 lines of the same error message briefly afterward). This is the problem I need solved.

The only way I can even access Windows is if I press F9, which allows me to choose the boot device I want (wish I knew that before I messed with the settings). However, I don't want to race to the F9 key every time I boot my machine just to access Windows. I'm not sure as to why it allows me to press F9 but not 'DEL', but it does.

How can I access the BIOS setup in this state?
