just installed the evo 212 but i noticed the copper tips are a little bent is that gonna cause any major problems.

That sounds bad. Did you happen to plug a fan into the motherboard while the system was still running? that could cause problems. i would also check for a blow fuse in your outlet or surge protector. test your system in other outlets in rooms on the other side of your home or as faraway as possible. MANY MANY MANY things could have gone wrong. btw what are you using to post right now?

I have had a similar issue in the recent past with a board with a similar AMD chipset. I could not use certain PSUs (in my case, a Corsair TX650). It had to do with the Power_OK signal from the power supply not being recognized by the chipset.

may just re wire the whole thing and deal with it tomorrow.

got the old 430 to work and it boots up iam gonna call about the 650tx tomorrow. only problem is now i think the copper tips seem to close to the case when i put the cover back on.
