Evening guys, my CorsairLINK shows 2 temperatures regarding the CPU and I am not sure which one is the right one. I know it is stupid but I dont understand it. It says that the CPU ITSELF is running at 24ºC on full load, but the H100i Temperature is at 90ºC on the same time... Doesn't this mean hot liquid is getting "in" my CPU and making it hot? By the way those temps are while running Prime 95 at Large FFT.

90*C is REALY HOT! i would even say danger zone hot! is your 8120 overclocked? i would think that is the correct value under a stress test. 24*C is quite cold. something doesn't sound right. where are you getting the 24*C reading from? are you using a program like speedfan? double check with a program like speedfan. if that is also saying your chip is running at 24*C there is likely with a problem with the temperature sensor on the MB or the chip itself (I had a 1055T that had this problem it reads 0*C).

If your chip is in fact running at 90*C i suggest you remount the cooler as temperatures like that can harm your FX chip. maybe also try reinstalling the corsairlink as well

when did you build this rig? did it always do this?

I think I have an idea of what happened, I checked with HW Monitor and it reads as 45°C at full load and between brackets it says 24°C. I think it the 24°C might be in each individual core and the 45°C the actual whole CPu temp. By the way it is only overclocking by default, automaticly, if it needs t boosts from 3.1 to 4.0 Ghz.

Maybe the 90°C is the temp at the radiator... By the way I am thinking to OC it a little bit but I wanna do it safely? How do I do it? Is it possible to go like 4.5 or 5.0 Ghz SAFELY? Thanks for the answers guys.
