I am planning on make a SLI with GTX 670s,
I have now a HD 6950 1GB,
Forget about the prices, im getting the cards from a friend.

Is it worth it? i mean, it will have THAT performance increase?
What about ONLY 1 GTX 670??
I also wanna play bf3 in my 3 1920x1080 monitors.

Thank you all.

Hahaha, yes. Very much so. However, I'd consider going with 770s instead of 670s.

It's still an upgrade yes, but again, I would look at the new tech - a 770 or 780.

When you say can't pick the two, that makes me think you're looking at buying a prebuilt. Is that true? If so, I can do nothing but tell you that it's not a good idea and that you're going to get a better performing, much better thought out rig by doing it yourself. Generally prebuilts use the cheapest parts they can, and make choices that are plain old stupid, like putting an unlocked processor on a motherboard that can't overclock, or using an i7 with a 640 and selling it as a "gaming" computer with flashy lights to get kids to make bad choices.

Actually no, is not a prebuilt.
Im getting the gtxs cards used from a friend, but he is considering to not sell the second one...so...idk..
Thank you for your answer, i now see that SLI gtx 670 perform much better in 5120x1080.

Ahh, gotcha. In that case, if one 670 is all you can get, it's still a good option.
