Hi guys

So I am currently looking forward on upgrading my cpu's cooling and I have a small dilemma. Should I go for a super extreme cpu fan like the Dark Rock 2 from be quiet, or should I upgrade to a water cooling system? I am not an extreme overclocker though I have my 3770k overclocked to 4.2Ghz using Asus Suite II. Space is not a problem since my case is big enough. Also money is not a limitation I just want to do what's the best for my rig always considering my personal usage.

P.S. My cpu currently runs at about 30 C on idle.

Any suggestions?

Cheers in advance!

+ 1 ^ It's huge so double check the dimensions if you ever decide to purchase. In my personal opinion , and I own both , I think the Phanteks beats out the Noctua in the cooling dept.

Get water cooling system, it's good since your budget isn't the problem.
A bit expensive, but does the job
Clean, Looks, and it helps for better airflow, the only concern is leaking but that's really rare

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you have any recommendations regarding a good w/c system? Single radiator is preferred.

The Phanteks is a bit overkill for a 4.2GHz overclock. It is a lot stronger than the Dark Rock 2. The Phanteks PH-TC14PE is one of the top high-end air coolers. Be warned, it is very big. Check the compatibility list before purchasing to make sure that your motherboard is supported.
