Hi, this is my first time building a computer and i would like to know what everyone thinks of this build. Ive been researching for weeks/months and this is what i have come up with.
Ok this rig will mostly be used for gaming as well as just an all around home PC for my girlfriend and I to use. My budget is about $1800 but i have spend some of it already.
I do need a keyboard, mouse and possibly a monitor as well so go ahead and add that to the cost.
This is what i have so far;

Im not looking for a cpu cooler quite yet, ill be getting that a bit down the road and im not looking for an SSD. Any suggestions, price alterations? All input is valid. I do need help choosing a good psu, something that will support 4 x 8pin pci-e connectors as i wish to do SLI sometime in the future :)

Thank You!

Thats what i was thinking but microcenter guys where arguing with me on that matter lol. Probably just trying to upsell a bit. You sure there is absolutly NO performance gain from 4670k to the 4770k?
For SLI i should look at 750/800w+ correct? any good ones you could link for me?

Correct. Games do not hyperthread. Therefor an i7 IS an i5 when you are gaming. There are a few documented cases where an i5 is actually very slightly better for gaming.

Don't bother with SLI right now. Just get a single high end GPU. As far as SLI in the future, 800w will be plenty as long as it is from a good company. If you don't mind paying for quality, look to Seasonic.
