Well whenever I am playing high end games on my system once in a while it will instantly shut off. There will be no warning none of that it just goes off. Whenever I'm just cruising the web or another game that is not high end it does not shut off. I think it is the PSU because at the time I was on a tight budget and I bought a generic 450 watt... Don't make fun of me lol but anyway here is my specs.

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7770 OC Edition
CPU: FX 6100 (stock speed)
Ram: 8 GB clocked in at 1333 mhz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3

I orignally had a junky AMD Radeon HD 6670 with a FX 4100 and at that time it never shut down on me so do you think the video card is withdrawing to much power when I am playing certain high end games like Metro: Last Light? Or could it be just dying? I think it is the first one. What do you guys think? Thanks

The PSU is perhaps the one component that you shouldn't cheap out on. The newegg power supply calculator says you have enough watts, but you went with a generic model. Antec, Corsair, and Cooler Master seems to have the better rated PSUs at 400 to 450 watts.
