I just built my new pc about 3 weeks ago and tonight while I was playing Crysis: Warhead it all of the sudden went crazy on me. Below is a screen capture while on the menu of that game and of it with this website pulled up in Firefox. This card has never had a problem and has the most recent drivers. Since this problem started, I tried restarting the pc and then reinstalling the driver for the card. Neither thing made a difference. I checked a couple of my other games and then problem seems to be on everything.

Any ideas of what this could be? I dread that it might be a hardware problem, but I am starting to think that is the very thing it might be.

artifacting. (or from extreme high unstable overclock)

RMA that card if you're stock clocks.

try another cable/gpu to monitor.

try under clocking cards ram and processor.

try another power supply.

check cards heat sink and fan for dust build up.

consider rma.

Everything in my system is at stock clocks. Also, the temperature has never gotten above 51 degrees celcius.

The card is only 3 weeks old so there is no dust in it at all. I do not have another power supply to try on it so i cant test that out. I cant underclock the card because i dont know how to adjust clock speeds hence why i steer away from overclocking haha.

return the card before your 30 day return from point of purchase expires and you have to send it back to the manufacturer.

( set up rma now! )
