Alrighty folks so I have an sandy bridge i7-2700k with a pci-e 3.0 slot mobo, however to my understanding my CPU will not allow me to use 3.0 and downgrades it to a standard 2.0. I was just wondering how much of a performance decrease this would be guys for my gtx 780 I have ordered?
I run dual monitors, but game only in 1080p and use the other 1080p monitor for casual browsing.

In the most common scenarios, the performance difference between PCI Express 2.0 and 3.0 is quite low.
