Screen blacks out and rig restarts

I just put a gtx660 in my Alienware, runs a 3.2g intel with 9gigs of ram and now it randomly restarts or the screen goes black. Could it be my PS? I can't tell what wattage it is. OS is a clean install.

hi pat. NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 450 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 24 Amps or greater and that has at least one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector.
So do you check how much your watts your PSU got?
