When you read the title, "what the hell are you thinking?", "Quadro is NOT for games!". True, it's not for gaming.

Well, the thing is this, my old friends and I are going to have a LAN party in a few weeks or so, and we are going to get ourselves all the games in, for good old day sake. But the thing is, as time passed by, we have computers that are more for working and less for gaming.

A few of us here got ourselves Intel HD 3000 and Quadro 420. While I've been looking at some Youtube video for Quadro 420 performance for games, I see that some modern games are "sort of" playable on lower setting.

So the thing is this, before we start to grab our gaming library and start installing games in, we want to ask about the performance about Quadro 420 on gaming. Yes, it's not for gaming, but if we are to compare ( 2nd gen i7 + Intel HD 3000 + Quadro 420 ) performance, then what CPU + gaming GPU equivalent with respect to time era, are we talking about here? I'm talking, is Intel HD 3000 stronger than X1600, ATI 3670, etc? This is so we can pinpoint the suitable gaming era for our machines.

Intel Graphics won't match even the older dedicated GPUs you mentioned. Intel graphics are simply not good gaming chips, at all. As far as the Quadro, I can tell you by looking at the specs of it that any moderately graphically complex game made within the last 3 or 4 years will kill it at any reasonable resolution, and some will kill it even at their lowest settings.
