Hi all,

I would like to ask a actually Three questions here,

First of all, I have a PC built as following :

CPU : i7 2700k @4.6 GHZ
PSU : Corsair TX 750 W V2 Enthuthiast Series
GPU : Gigabyte Gtx 670 OC Windforce Edition 3x
RAM : 16 GB of DDR3 - 1600 MHZ
M.B. : AsRock Z77 Extreme 4
HDD : 500 GB WESTERN DIGITAL SATA 32 MB Cache

I'm running all games @ 720p and I have a slightly old Case [NZXT Lexa S]

now my PC is running very well at the moment, I'm not complaining of anything for the present. But u can say I'm a little worried for the next generation consoles hardware capabilities, that it could outtakes our PCs nowadays, so I'm Planning to extend my Rig with another Video Card in SLI

1. Is the SLI setup should be the same model and the same brand ? I mean I know it should be another similar GTX 670 , but should it be also Gigabyte Windforce 3x Edition ?

2. If yes, can my processor handles them both for a good performance or it should be a bottleneck ?

3. Is my PSU is powerful enough to handle both cards ? or I should be changing it as well ?!

Thx Alot :)

Ideally, you would use the exact same model and brand. But as long as you use a GTX 670 it should be fine. I think you would have to get the same amount of RAM on it though.

Yes, your processor is more than powerful enough to not bottleneck it.

Your PSU is more than enough to handle your GPU's on SLI.

Yes, you will be fine with the SLI with everything (PSU, CPU etc)
BUT personally...a big NO NO... rly, WHY SLI @ 720P??? money trown out the window... Rather add an SSD next to your 500GB HDD. Even if you are worried about the future "omg killer game" ported from the new consoles ill rather replace my GTX 670 with a new card than SLI... SLI is for 1440p+ resolutions... not 720p...

So what do you advise me to do ? change my GFX card ? with what ? is there any single graphics card than can beat a gtx 670 in sli ? and if this is not the advice, and u can advice me to have an SSD instead, so is it really efficient ? should i'll be feeling the difference in games and 3d apps ?
