How to tell if a GPU is a ref or non ref card?

I have a Sapphire HD 7850. Should I be able to tell if it has a AMD logo on it? Done some google searches and this is what I have come up with so far.

BTW, it cools well so my guess is Non-Ref.

Okay thanks, reason why is because I am thinking of overvolting, but am worried about killing it, might not bother as it seems little gain for a big risk, considering it will also use more electric to.

"Reference" has to do with the PCB and cooler. If it's the exact same as what AMD released the card with, then it's reference. If it's got a different cooler (which it almost definitely has) or PCB, then it's non-reference. But it really doesn't make a difference at all.

I would recommend against overvolting - just raise the clocks as high as they'll go without crashing in games, and be happy. Overvolting rarely gets you much more performance for a ton more heat.
