I got a new headset about a month ago, and I remember a day it worked fine. Friends on the other line said they heard some static though. The next day when trying to use it, it registered no sound though. I tried reinstalling the driver, but I kept getting an error. I also noticed today, when I plugged in the mic in the front, it would say I unplugged and vice versa. My sound card is built in and I'm not quite sure if it's a mic, motherboard, software issue. The speakers work just fine.
