I'm trying to make a budget desktop for just simple home use and light gaming. Graphic settings don't need to be set on ultra, I'm happy with medium as long as i can keep my FPS around 30+. My budget is around $450. I just want to make sure everything I have listed is compatible. Also, if you see anything obvious i should change out, or any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

What games are you planning on playing?
The A10 can play most games on medium/high settings at 720p for ~30fps, but you'll need to play on low settings at 1080p for ~30fps.

Also, that CPU cooler won't be necessary unless you plan to do some serious overclocking.

I'll just throw a couple of tidbits in; RadeonPro and hihg-frequency RAM.

That program will allow you to stretch your APU to punt out more frames.

APU's love fast RAM. The faster, the sexier it is to them. Now, fast RAM (I'm talking beyond 1600MHz) is expensive. Up to you if it's worth it, but it is something to consider.

Counter Strike mainly. And maybe WoW, depending if it sucks me back in. I picked a DDR3-2133MHz, that should be ok, correct? Also, Do you think its worth it to upgrade to the A10-6800k? All the benchmarks I've seen only have a slight increase over the A10-5800k. Trying to figure out if its worth the extra $40.
