This is going to be my first build for a PC from an xbox. I don't need Ultra settings but my Grandmother works for a University so i'm getting half of these parts for free. I'm 14 and all my friends (who play Xbox and PS3) thinks PC sucks and the players suck. lol. So here's my build so far. I'm getting it for Christmas because I didn't want it when summer break is here and parts are cheaper around the holidays (which doesn't matter anyways to me) I'm going to be playing games like BF4, COD: ghosts, GTA5 if it even comes on PC, and possibly AC4. (I don't like MMO's) Opinions are welcome and any tips would be great! Oh, and the motherboard is $0.00 because I have a Microcenter near me and I just added the total to the CPU. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/12AD1

Looks good quite good for a budget rig, actually! However, the problem I see with it, is that you're buying so far into the future that we have no way of predicting what parts and options will be available. So for now, it's good, but by Christmas we will likely be seeing new AMD CPUs and GPUs, not to mention massive price fluctuations, so you will certainly want to re-adjust the parts list then to get the best bang for your buck.

If his grandmother works for a University, then he can probably get it for free from her.
