Well, after a sizable amount of research, I have narrowed down what I think would be a great build.

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme6 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 (SC with ACX cooler) 2GB Video Card
Case: Corsair Vengeance C70 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V Power Supply
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

I don't feel the need for a socket 1150 CPU or MOBO as Haswell only brings IGU enhancements. All I need to know is: will the PSU be sufficient, is the C70 a decent case, would a 7970 GHz be better (game bundle not included), is the MOBO any good, and are there any other parts I should choose.

Overall, great build. I would go with the Extreme4 over the 6 (since the 6 doesn't provide a whole lot of benefits). But you must keep in mind that Haswell has been released; definitely go with the 1150 socket Extreme4, as well as an i5-4670k. I would get perhaps a 700 watt power supply (take a look at SeaSonic), so that you have more options for upgradability if you ever want to SLI. In terms of the graphics card, I recommend (for $30 more) an MSI Lightning; it has much higher core and boost clocks, as well as a nice color scheme ;). Also, if you don't want to spend the extra $30, the Gigabyte Windforce is a great (extremely cool [temperature-wise]) card. Overall, nice build :)
