I just built a computer using the new Asrock Z87 board + i7-4770K. I'm still waiting on my GTX 780, so I haven't tested the following myself.
Question: Can I run my GTX 780 (PCI Express 3.0) at 16x while a PCIE 1x sound card is plugged in to any other PCIE slot? I'm wondering if the GTX 780 will reduce itself to 8x while the sound card uses the PCIE 1x slot...
