Crashes, install hangs, and BSOD. Is my Crucial M4 SSD Faulty?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some feedback from folks with more experience with SSDs. I finally made the upgrade to a Crucial M4 64gb drive running 0309 firmware last week. I setup Windows 8 on the drive and directed most of my large programs to install on a separate 1 TB drive. However, after my install, I've had some real stability issues. Firefox crashes regularly, certain programs like photoshop and illustrator hang on install, and I get a couple of BSOD every day, most of them different.

Since then, I've done a Windows 8 refresh and a complete reinstall to no avail. The problems still persist. But every SSD health application I've tried tells me the drive is in great shape.

The only other change I've made to the system lately was installing an additional 8 gb of RAM. I've run tests on those sticks and they seem to check out.

Am I right in thinking this SSD is my problem? Is this something a firmware update could potentially fix, or should I just return the drive?
