Anything lower isn't worth buying (even this is iffy).

Really, you wont get any real performance upgrade short of just getting a new PC outright. That rig is too old to do anything but completely get rid of it.
If you can even find DDR memory (Its that old) then getting another 1GB will help, but DDR is impossible to find now. You could probably even sell off your stick as a collectors item.
A HD7750 at most, the rig is quite old and will bottleneck anything else you put on it.
Really, if you want a decent upgrade you need to replace the whole machine. It could quite easily be the 1GB of RAM you have that's limiting performance, or the single core CPU from 2004.

What he said ^

Collectors item...

You can get a good rig for under 1k$ which would allow you playing wow on max settings and would last you for a good few years if you just plan on playing WoW and maybe soem other games on mid.

I just wanted to give you a quick update on the new Hd 7750 video card that i purchased thanks to you. It works amazingly!!!. I can play wow on ULTRA settings with 25 FPS which is a huge improvement from the 9 FPS i was getting on low settings. Thank you so much :)
