Hi guys, I have a problem that's been happenning for some time now. After 4-5 hours of gaming ( I haven't checked while doing anything else) my monitors are just going black. I still hear my fans working and everything. I hear them running faster than usual though. The monitors are still on but the monitors aren't the problem since they are all brand new and when I try with an older monitor, I still encounter the same problem. When my screen is black I can't control my computer at all ( when I try pressing caps lock/number lock, nothing happens). The only way to fix this is restarting the computer. I've changed the motherboard 4 times already and the psu 3 times. Could someone tell me what seems to make my computer bug and crash all the time? The problem is still happenning when I stop overclocking components.

Specs:
Processor: i7-3770k
Motherboard: sabertooth z77
Hardrive: 1TB seagate (+ samsung ssd 128gb 840 pro series)
Graphics card: HD radeon 7870 edition sapphire
ram: 16gb dell 1333
CPU cooler: Thermaltake 2.0 extreme water 2.0.
PSU: 850w thermaltake toughpower grand (80 gold)

That is due to overheating probably GPU cuts out.
You should install liquid cooling on your system/s for both CPU and GPU.

That should fix your problem.

Isn't installing watercooling for your GPU voiding the warranty though? I never thought I HAD to use watercooling for a video card for it to actually work with 2 monitors and not crash...

Is it used for gaming?
You should install it at least for CPU. It helps a lot in keeping temperatures cool and 7870 can not deal with 2 displays with heavy gaming.

One of the components of your system failed due to over heating. That is the case .. Also, changing heat sink to a better one and applying a good thermal compound for CPU should also help and resolve the issue .. You should try these steps.

I use Thermaltake 2.0 extreme water 2.0.which is a closed watercooling system and my GPU temperature is at 50ish degrees celsius. I heard the GPU could go even higher without a problem (around 60) but my fan speed is at 24% when my temperature is at 50-55. Should I put the fan speed higher manually?

No that is fine. GPU stays perfect if it is below 80. 50 is nothing, many GPUs hit 85 - 90 with 2-3 hours of gaming but that does not make them turn off.

Maybe its CPU related problem ... As I said, you should change heatsink and apply thermal compound.

I changed the thermal compound and my CPU temperature is always below 50 but I still have the same problem.
