Random Shutdowns/Restarts Loose Wires?

So after, about a year, of trying to figure out the following problem I've completely given up, perhaps someone has input on the subject:

So I build my rig less than a year ago (so all parts are under warranty STILL), out of the blue when I transferred up to college my computer started to randomly shutdown (and on occasion would attempt to restart like a short). After initial diagnosis I sent in my MB to be checked. Got that back and Asus didn't say a word about any problems. I plugged it all back in and viola! Works "fine", then less then two weeks later, same problem a random shutdown and refusal to start up (intermittent).

So this time I call up Corsair and RMA my power supply, they send me a brand new one no questions asked. I throw it in, starts right up and runs for about 3 months. Then started having intermittent shutdowns again. I go out and buy a different brand NEW Corsair power supply (see below) and put it in, works for ANOTHER 2-3 months then back to square one.

After SCOURING the web, trying multiple things, still no fix. Then JUST today less than 25 min ago I notice that the 24 pin connector if wiggled a certain way will IMITATE the effects, it will shut off the computer, then wiggle it again a bit and it will turn on again, off again etc. After doing some diagnosing I've come to the conclusion that one (or more) of the pins in the 24 pin connector are loose creating a small disconnection between the motherboard and the power supply. So here's the question, should I RMA the power supply (this time with a little firm talk with Corsair) or does anyone think there is a better course of action?

Please keep in mind NOTHING has been over clocked on this rig since this has been a reoccurring issue I have been scared out of OC since day one.

Here are my specs including the second power supply I purchased:

Asus Cross-hair IV Formula Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T
(first power supply): Corsair TX950W
(second power supply): Corsair HX1000W Modular
EVGA GTX 580
Corsair XMS3 DDR3 (4 gig X 2) RAM

Did you update the mb bios to rule outa bios bugs??? All the standoffs used and if a after market heatsink was use is it shorting the back of the mb r grounding out. Check to see if the mb tray is raized and could be shorting out the video or ram slots. Look for drop screw under the mb or the mb shield fingers shorting out the mb. The last issue is going to be a pain in the butt...there a bad part that zapping your mb. It could be a drive or video card or bad CPU. I seen also cases with bad mini cards that the power switch and USB ports are connected too.
