Would a i5 4570 bottleneck a gtx 770 or gtx 780?

So, I've decided that I might not overclock my processor and I'm trying to see if I can save some money on the processor by going with a i5 4570 instead of a i5 4670K. (I'm buying from Microcenter btw...) But I'm concerned about if a i5 4570 will bottleneck either a gtx 770 or a gtx 780. I really am liking the 780 even if it might be overkill for my needs (mmorpgs @ 1920x1080 (planning on upgrading to 2650x1440)). So, will I have any problems if I choose an i5 4570?

If you are going to go with the 780, might as well spend the small amount to get the 4670k.

To answer your question neither will bottleneck the GPU's you are planning to get. However if you are not looking to overclock at all then yes theres no need for the 780 or the 4670k, save your money and get another 770 later on for SLI.

With regard to longetivity, if you want a system to last you that bit longer and maintain high settings with high resolutions and good FPS, id invest the extra buch to get the 780 and the K version. Later on this would enable you to overclock for that extra juice if necessary.

The CPU shouldn't be an issue with the resolution you want to run when it comes to picture quality you could get the the 780 and still go with the 4570K assuming you are gaming I take it. Honestly the 770 is considered equivelant in performance (roughly) to the GTX 680 for a better price think of it that way. Like getting the performance of a 680 for the price of what the 670 roughly goes for. I honestly see no need for the 780 at this time. perhaps in a couple years maybe unless you want to overclock and stuff and you happen to be quite the enthusiast!

hey guys i'm gonna be doing some gaming at 1080p. Im on a $1000 budget and I can't decide if i want a 4670k or a 4570. I dont think i'll be overclocking and the 4570 is cheaper, but the overclocking might come in handy when the 4670k becomes a lot older for more performance. I'm pairing it up with a gtx 760. ideas?

That's weird sorry to hear that. How about this post the link for your thread here so that others can know you opened one and also need help when they finish here!
