hey guys,i want to upgrade my MOBO but im confused between those:


ASUS Maximus V Formula Socket 1155 Motherboard

MSI Z77 MPOWER Socket 1155 Motherboard

ASRock Z77 OC Formula Socket 1155 Motherboard

ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE Motherboard

ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 Motherboard

ASRock Fatal1ty Z77 Professional Socket 1155 Motherboard.




I want to know which one of them is the best in performance & overclocking?

Performance and overclocking? The Maximus V Formula.

However, the Z77 OC Formula, Sabertooth, and MPower are also solid boards for a bit less on the price end of things.

The Fatal1ty Z77, and the P8Z77-V Are both great boards, but more everyday / gaming boards than overclocking performance boards.

So if we cancel the maximus v formula (price is high),which one of the others is better in performance?

If it was me looking for a good quality gaming / performance board I would actually lean towards the ASRock Z77 Extreme6, cheaper and a crazy feature set.


Between the choices you have listed, the Fatal1ty and the OC Formula are almost identical (except for the colors and a few features that you wouldn't be using) and are great

The Asus boards are solid, but more expensive than the ASRock boards.
