I recently bought a new computer with no Operating System, everything was working fine until I got to the windows7 installation, the problem is that the SATA hard drive is not being detected.
But it is detected in the BIOS

Hard drive:
Seagate Barracuda 7200 1TB (SATA)

Please help me, thanks.

Actually, nevermind I found the correct driver, I don't know if it's gonna work or not.yet.

EDIT:
I just found out that windows actually sees it as a driver, but it wasn't showing up because I had "hide drivers that are not compatible with the computer hardware"ticked, but still, I install the driver and nothing shows up still.

Hmm interesting, I've got the mother's board cd, i'm going to try and look for it, thanks for the reply.

EDIT:
Windows7 installation does not seem to see the setup of the driver as a driver setup.btw in the website the only driver I saw related to SATA was the chipset it says : "AMD Chipset Driver (include chipset \ sata raid driver)".

any ideas?
