So we have 4 custom built AMD boxes at work we use for more graphic intensive work. All 4 are exact duplicates. They were purchased a couple years ago so they are not completely up to date anymore.

The problem with the one I use, is that upon reset, the pc will not post (monitor stays black) but all the fans and stuff turn on in the case. It will not post until i either reset it a few times or toggle the PSU (or unplug replug the psu).

I tried searching for this here but can only seem to find issues where the PC wont power back up at all. My issue is just that it is not posting.

Does this sound like definitely a PSU issue or could it still be something else?

More about : post psu toggled

Thats a hard question my friend. You are lucky that you have 4 machines to test in. Take 2 of them and swap the PSU's and see what happens.

What motherboards are they using? Check yours for swollen or leaking capacitors. Googling for "bad capacitors" will show you images of what they look like.
