Why are all cases still the same? NEW IDEA!

I only need 1 hard drive - maybe 2...
I only need 1 optical drive tops...

So why aren't there any options for a chassis that's not a micro ATX or smaller that offers better cooling and room for an ATX motherboard, decent GPU, and power supply?

What about an all black brushed aluminum chassis for starters?

How bout bigger fans in the front running at lower speeds for silence? (Why is everything still 120 or 140?)

Maybe a window on the side to show off my stuff?

Make it squatty but not a box just so you can can easily have space for a decent cooler with cable management.

I'm not an engineer, but it seems that this would make for a well cooled smaller space. Think 240 - 250mm wide but maybe only 350-400 in length and enough height for the power supply, mobo, and optical to be on top of each other. I've built into the Silverstone TJ08-E and I think they have the right idea but I need that just windowed and bigger. I like the TJ04-E but without all the drive space up front. The new Raven case with its 2 AP fans is also the right idea but needs to be scaled down.

I've mentioned SIlverstone here, but I've looked at Lian Li, Corsair, Cooler Master, Fractal Design, NZXT, etc. and still none of them have grasped this concept.

My future components will be:

1150 ATX board with 4670K Haswell
GTX 770
750W power
1 250GB SSD
1 optical AND THATS IT!!!!

Thought's, comments? Someone to build me this case and make millions off it? Go right ahead!

Well manufactures are making and marketing there case for what most people are going to need. Sadly they are not going to even come close to making there money back selling a special case like that for a good price as the demand would not be there. I know at least for me any case with space for less than 6 HDD would not cut it. With my current i5 3570K rig I have 6x 3tb WD HDD plus a 120gig SSD and Blu-Ray drive. So anything less than a Full Tower would not cut it. But then again my Steam account alone consumes 2tb of hard drive space another 1tb for Origin. And that is not including my Blu-Ray rips music and such. Maybe I am the exception. But I just like the look of Full Tower Cases.

I've thought about a cube idea, but I still want a tower and for the motherboard in a natural location on the side. The more I think about it something like the Temjin TJ04-E but compress the length down to about 350mm. I feel like I need a sketch artist to describe what I want!

@bryon - that's just it - there are 100's of cases to choose from that will handle huge amounts of storage. I also realize sometimes it's better to have the space for upgrades later but really how many people need more than 1 or 2 ssd/hd's and an optical? An ssd can be mounted almost anywhere in a case. I've got an old Thermaltake full tower case with a million fans, but it just seems so old. I want something sleek and classy that's why I tend towrds the Lian Li and Silverstone brushed aluminum look. I've been waiting on Haswell and the 700 series GPUs from NVIDIA to come out for this build, just can't choose a case.
