Okay, so right now I'm sitting at a stable 4.2 GHz overclock, i5-3570k, and would like to raise the multiplier to 45 in my bios, my vcore in the bios is set at 1.240 but my CPU-Z reports the core voltage being at 1.184.
I raised my Multiplier from 42 to 45, and got a boot loop. I increased my vcore in increments of 0.01 every time, all the way up to 1.300 vcore, and continued to get a boot loop, it'd post, and go to load windows, the animated logo would just about finish, and then a reboot would occur. Here's my system as validated by CPU-Z at the stable overclock.
