Hi I want to get a new graphics card currently have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 and wanted to upgrade to a Radeon HD 7850 but my friend told me my computer would explode if I got the new graphics card without upgrading my power supply since I only have a 500 watt one so I was wondering if I got a 630 watt power supply would I be able to use the Radeon 7850 my computer specs are
CPU: AMD Phenom 2 X4 965
Ram: 16 GB of DDR3
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
Power supply 500 Watt
Hard Drive: 500 GB
So ya I'm pretty new its the first computer that I made would really appreciate the advice so I don't end up getting the power supply and it doesn't work
