An asus gtx 550ti I'm thinking on buying gtx 770s but I'm not quite sure if I would have any problems due to running older hardware ?? Or should I just upgrade my computer ??

Plus I'm be using mostly for gaming that's why I only wanna upgrade the gpu.

Agree with the above your CPU is still solid for gaming. It may not be the fasted out there but a good GPU upgrade would do you better that is for sure. And from what I have read the current Haswell CPU are just not worth the price of upgrading given you would have to upgrade the CPU and motherboard. Plus from what I have seen so far the difference between Haswell a i7 4770K and a i7 3770K is almost nothing. And the difference between the i5 3570K and the i7 4770K is only 10-15% which in my opinion is not enough difference to warrant upgrading to more of a sidegrade than anything else. From what I have seen over the years is anything less than 10-15% increase you really will not see a increase in real world performance.

I am sure we...

I am sure we have not seen all that Haswell has to offer so that might chance but right now it is just not worth it. Maybe if someone were building a new rig from the ground up. But even then with the lower price of the i5 3570K I think it is still the best for a gaming rig and would work great for a few years down the road.

Keep your Z68 Sandy-Bridge PC, it is still a beautiful+powerful platform. Sandy/Ivy are still damn good systems to date. If you are itching for an upgrade, then just get the new GeForce GTX 770 for your current rig... the Z68 may be years old, but it is not that old to replace (NOTE: Your Intel-driven 2500K Z68 PC is up there with the competition's AMD High-end platform.)

An upgrade from Sandy/Ivy to Haswell is more of a WANT than a NEED.
