i have an HD 7750 graphics card working on a 300 watt PSU and i started to get this error very often "AMD driver has stopped responding and has recovered"

so i was thinking of unplugging my optical drive because i dont use it so my power consumption get lower.
if this is the right choice can you guys tell me what are the steps of unplugging my optical drive :D

The optical drive doesn't really use power unless its operating. You psu may either be not enough, or just worn out. I have seen that driver message (as most people who have owned AMD cards) and its not necessarily a power issue. Do you have the newest drivers loaded?

Well from the picture I would say that PSU is a POS. It is time for a new good quality PSU. If it is a power problem unplugging the Optical drive is not going to do you any good as others have said unless you are using it will draw zero power and even when in use they do not use alot of power.

I have never had a "driver has stopped" message on any of my AMD or Nvidia GPUS for that matter but given the PSU you have that would be my best guess.

a clean install means uninstalling my current driver and then installing the drivers again? is it right?
