800d a good air cooling case?

So I'm looking at two cases at the moment, and I'm torn between the 800d and the fractal r4. I want to watercool in the future and that's why I want to get the 800d. I'm sure it will have room for everything I will need for the future. I will be short on money for a while ( about 4 months) so I want to know if the 800d is decent when air cooled.

It's decent on air, but not the best.

However, if you want to go to liquid in the future, it's phenominal. I use an 800D to cool the build in my signature. Mine is modified so that I have a 120.2 radiator on the bottom, in front of the PSU. I think that it's perfectly fine if air cooling is a short-term solution for you. The ease of use and quality of life features that case brings is really tough to beat.

800D is not a great aircooling case, this is one of it criticisms, while the R4 is a decent air cooling case watercooling is not its forte. Look into the something like the NZXT Switch 810 which give you more room for rads and less cost.

I'm interested in the case because of the reliability and ability to use it into the future. It's big enough to last for a long time, and it's pretty damn good looking imo. I think i'll go with the 800d.

I love it. I had a 650D, and I moved to the 800D when I installed my loops. Beyond the looks, it's got so many useful features that make life easier. Below is mine.

I think red is the best tubing, but whatever floats your boat aye? :) Gave you best answer too.
