I'm going to buy a 120hz monitor and run it on dvi. I have read in that some dvi cables do not support 120hz can you link me to one that does?

You want a Dual-Link DVI cable like:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Also note some graphics cards will have one dual link output along with a single link so make sure you pay attention when you connect it. You will see the pin slots in the middle if its dual link.

EDIT: Many 120hz monitors will come with a Dual-Link DVI cable.
