I recently bought a Asus Xonar Essence STX and was given the G930's as a gift. I have a problem where I can not get sound to come through my headphones while in the Xonar audio center control panel and I play the headphones test. I guess my question is how can I set up the Xonar to take advantage of my headphones? Or is it a waste being the g930's are usb?

The Wireless Gaming Headset G930 doesn't connect directly to your sound card so it doesn't utilize your sound cards' features. Even the surround sound function of the G930 is dependent to the Logitech Gaming Software and it doesn't matter if your sound card supports surround sound or not.
