Hello im purchasing a rig with a a-10 6800k

so it is an fm2 cpu..
Gigabyte GA-F2A85X-UP4 Socket FM2 ATX AMD Motherboard

Can this mobo run it, do i have to do a bios update to do it.. If i have to how do i update my bios

Yes, it supports it, apparently out of the box, which does not seem right.
The only way to flash a BIOS is with a known supported CPU installed.

Yes it will run it. But it needs a BIOS update.

Grab a flashdrive and download the BIOs onto it. Go to a local store and borrow a known working CPU to flash with.

You can try it with a 6800k, if you don't get a screen, you'll have to take it to a computer store and see if you can flash it with an older FM2 chip.
