Yes, that is the correct model number!:benetton: HP Pavilion g6-1004tx Notebook supports a maximum memory of "8GB" and has two slot for memory. Each slot can take upto 4GB. Since, you already have 4GB DDR3-1333MHz memory installed, I would suggest you to go with 4GB of the same speed. Mixing brands is kinda okay but sometimes some models can be picky so if you decide to stick with the same brand (the current brand is Samsung) that should be better. You could try this website for compatible 4GB memory- Click here!!
