Well, after being a hard core console fanboy for the best part of the decade i have moved on in the evolution of gaming to the PC! My goals for this rig are for serious 1080p, hopefully 60Fps (depending on Graphics card) performance. My rig currently stands like this;
Processor - intel i7 4770k
Motherboard - Msi Z87a-GD65 gaming series
Case - Nzxt Phantom 410
Cooling - Corsair H100i
Storage - Sandisk Extreme 256Gb
I have yet to buy any RAM or a PSU :3 . But for RAM i was thinking Corsair Vengeance CL9 2x4Gb Dual channel 1600Mhz or G skills 2x4Gb 2133Mhz.
For the PSU i can't make my mind up; Stuck between;
-Corsair Gs700/800 (I'm a sucker for LED lights hehehe <3)
-Corsair Hx750M (due to it being semi-modular)
-Corsair Hx850.
-XFX pro 750 bronze certified psu
My requirements are that i have stable power for my build which i hope to include either a GTX 680/770 or a 7970 Ghz edition with a possibility of SLI-ing or Cross-firing in the future.
So...Is this an ok build...? and how can i avoid any static damage to my components while i'm assembling them...? (I'm rather a noob at this )
Thank you.
