Last night I took apart my PC trying to fit a new CPU cooler only to find that it blocks the PCI slot, I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions or can offer an alternative fan which might fit.

The motherboard is a ASRock H77-M ITX board, with a Intel Xeon E3-1230v2 CPU in a Cooler Master Elite 120 ITX case. The RAM slots have two sticks of Corsair Vengenence LP, and the GPU is a Sapphire 7950 boost. The cooler I bought was a Cooler Master Geminii M4.

Thanks for the reply, I had to put the stock cooler back on and it's not a easy job to take it all apart again. It is just the design of the ASRock H77-M board which puts the PCI slot really close to the CPU socket, I can't get any fan that exceeds the dimensions of the stock fan, with a max height of 65mm.

My old card was a 7850 and I didn't have these noise issues, so I am thinking that the extra stress put on my 520w psu might be causing the excessive fan noise.
